Our Annual

‘With Love’ Campaign

Salon Purpose was founded with the heart to make a positive impact

Each year at the start of May, we celebrate our business birthday by giving back!

From Monday 18 May, our annual With Love campaign returns, with a simple idea: Your regular hair appointment has purpose and can help change someone’s life.

How It Works

For two weeks during May, we’ll donate $25 from every appointment to a cause of your choice - on your behalf, at no extra cost to you. At a time when many people are more conscious about how they spend, With Love offers a way to give back through something you’re already doing.

You book your hair. We create something beautiful. Together, we make a real impact.

for Australian families experiencing homelessness

Safe Housing

In Australia on any given night, 116,000 people are homeless. Families are faced with additional complexities when navigating the challenges associated with homelessness.

This project focuses on early intervention and prevention of homelessness, as well as health, wellbeing and educational support services along the journey. Through this project, Australian families are provided with safe housing and empowered with the skills to reshape their future, paving the way towards real and lasting change.

Domestic violence healing programs

In Australia, the devastating effects of domestic violence in the First Nations community is widespread. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women are 35 times more likely to be hospitalised due to family violence than other Australian women and 5 times more likely to be victims of homicide. More than 55% of these homicides are related to family violence.

With many agencies delivering reactive response services, this project focuses on practical and culturally sensitive programs with First Nations women who have experienced domestic violence - equipping them with knowledge and tools to prevent future reoccurrences and break the cycle.

Maternity care

In Uganda, 16 women die per day because of complications related to pregnancy and childbirth. Women in rural villages of Northern Uganda often do not have the capacity to travel or access to facilities where they can give birth safely.

With no other health facilities within a 72km radius, The Kristina Health Clinic (KHC) services the Otuke District in Northern Uganda, offering education and improving access to health care services, especially maternity care.

Through this project, more expectant mothers will receive essential care, giving women and their babies the very best chance at life from the beginning.

A Collective Effort

Now in its sixth year, With Love has grown into something truly meaningful — with over $100,000 contributed to charitable causes, together with our clients and community.

Last year alone, we raised more than $14,000 in just two weeks of With Love, supporting DV healing programs, safe drinking water and essential maternity care.

This year, we’re aiming to raise $15,000 and every appointment brings us closer.
