Hair tips and tricks meet connection and community – a look inside our Sip & Learn event

Welcome to a Salon Purpose Sip & Learn event.

On Friday the 18th of August, 35 guests gathered at Salon Purpose in Manly to kick back with a glass of bubbles while learning hairdressing secrets for salon quality styling and maintenance at home. 

At Salon Purpose, helping our clients achieve their hair goals is what we live for. With advice on how to achieve salon quality styles at home effortlessly and which products are best for busy professional girls, this event offered an opportunity to come together and connect, share our expertise, and love on our clientele as a way of saying thank you to our beloved Salon Purpose community.

Order of events

Upon arrival, guests were offered a glass of bubbles and given a free goodie bag packed with shampoo, conditioner, a leave-in conditioner, clip and combs. 

Then it was time to mingle and connect. At Salon Purpose we strive to offer more than just excellent hair and exceptional service, we want to offer opportunities for connection and community.

Once seated, it was time to dive into hair education! Our guests were able to ask our talented stylists questions and watch our live models show off easy, time saving tricks to style your hair on trend.

Expert demonstrations 

Senior stylist Lina showed attendees how to create loose curls and explained how to tame pesky baby hairs.

Salon Purpose Director Nicki showed how to easily achieve a glam look with some big bouncy waves. 

Each demonstration included an explanation of what products to use and how long certain styles would last on different hair types. 

Our expert stylists fielded questions from event guests including:

• What are the best products to use on fine hair to achieve volume?
• How many shampoos should I do?
• What is the benefit of heat protection?
• Do I need to section my hair?

And so much more!

To wrap up the evening, girls mingled some, bought products they needed to achieve their desired look, and had the opportunity to ask questions privately about their unique hair concerns.

Did we mention, all the education and high vibes were delivered and wrapped up within an hour and half?

We loved hosting this event for our beautiful Salon Purpose community, and it certainly won’t be our last!
